i believe no frs. pax,dax or rwyn can fix the semeniary at the moment. they have to come up with a good 'recruitment' plan for enrolment to be up again. talk to a friend, there's this seminary in bulacan that uses sports program to 'lure' would be seminarians. they are proud to have vergel meneses there before for a couple of years. i hope the likes of coun. mike go can come up with a big basketball league in sorsogon that can be participated by sorsogon schools. sports really affects the number of enrollees. teh diocese should be open to new 'tactics' in recruiting. otherwise there will come a time that olps will be turned into a bed and breakfast inn or worst bought by SOGO chain of motels, because nobody wants to study there anymore.

the "sogo chain of hotels" comment sounds interesting ha, hehehe, teddyR are you here? seriously though, yeah changing times. only a handful highschool seminary left in the country to date, and it seems that a lot of psycho-dev hitches have come out of the "minor" syndrome (i hope u understand what this means, we keep on sharing about this lately guys, hehehe). damn, why do they keep on calling us "abnormal persons"?!? perhaps the current situation raises the issue anew. are we going to keep minor seminaries going? isn't it a fact that they are considering closing down, and instead "invest" on a much higher batting average, like infuse more funds to the college or theo formation? let's keep our minds and hearts to this very pressing reality. what can you say?

There used to be 3 rows right? Hmnn...if you really think about it..the quality of education in the seminary is topnotch and that should be sufficient to lure potential freshmen. But then again when we were in 6th grade and about to decide where to go for highschol, we didn't think about the quality of education blah blah blah...so there must be another way...
